ABOUT US
California's Mental Health Leave Resource
LeaveConsult.com was created to help California employees navigate the complex intersection of mental health and work.
LeaveConsult.com focuses exclusively on mental health related workplace concerns. We do not provide services for physical or orthopedic medical leave, workers’ compensation claims, personal injury evaluations, or long term disability case management. By maintaining this specialized focus, we are able to provide knowledgeable guidance for anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma and stressor related disorders, postpartum mental health conditions, grief, burnout, and other psychological conditions that interfere with occupational functioning.
The Leaveconsult Method™
Understand
Every person's story is different. We begin by understanding the complete picture of your life, your symptoms, your treatment history, your relationships, your work environment, and the events that may be contributing to your current level of functioning.
Stabilize
Healing begins with creating stability. Whether treatment involves psychotherapy, healthier coping strategies, a mental health leave when clinically appropriate, workplace accommodations, or intermittent leave, our focus is reducing symptoms and helping you regain emotional balance.
Recover
Recovery involves more than symptom reduction. We help individuals strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships, establish healthier boundaries, increase self-awareness, and regain confidence in both their personal and professional lives.
Rebuild
Many people discover that the circumstances contributing to their distress existed long before they requested a leave of absence. Through continued treatment, they develop practical tools that support healthier relationships, improved stress management, and long-term emotional wellness.
Return
Returning to work is not the end of the journey. For many individuals, returning to work represents the beginning of applying newly developed skills in everyday life. Continuing psychotherapy after returning to work often helps reinforce progress, reduce the likelihood of relapse, and provide support while adjusting to workplace responsibilities. Our goal is not simply returning someone to work. Our goal is helping people build healthier, more resilient lives.
Take the First Step Toward Greater Wellbeing
You do not have to face mental health challenges alone. Whether you are experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, emotional exhaustion, or difficulties affecting multiple areas of life, support is available.
Understanding what you are experiencing is often the first step toward meaningful improvement. With the right guidance and support, it is possible to move forward with greater stability, confidence, and hope for the future.
